Nivaldo Rojas, President
Mr. Rojas founded the company in 1998. He has a degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Atacama, Chile. Previously, Mr. Rojas worked for BHP Minerals (now BHP Billiton) as Country Manager. He had a key role in the discovery of ore deposits such as the Escondida Mine in Chile, Agua Rica and Diablillos in Argentina. In 1995 Mr. Rojas received the “Excellency in Exploration Award” from BHP, and in 2007 the award to the professional career from Panorama Minero. He is a member of the Chilean Institute of Mining Engineers, the Australasian Institute of Metallurgy and Mining and a founding member of GEMERA.
Víctor Bonfils, Projects Manager
Mr. Bonfils has experience in exploration, tenement management and community relations. He graduated in Geology from the National University of La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He joined Rojas in 2005. Previously, he was in charge of tenements for Rio Tinto, and he also worked as geologist for Gevaz Minera, Minerales Argentinos and Geomines Consultora, among others. From 1987 to 1991 he was Mining Director of Mendoza, Argentina.
Paola Rojas, Business Development Manager
Ms. Rojas has experience in providing end-to-end services to foreign mining companies, from project generation to settlement in the country, to management and public relations. She graduated in Architecture at the National University of Tucuman and took an MBA from Catholic University of Cordoba, Argentina. She is currently Manager of the Argentina Mining, part of the Rojas Group. Prior to joining Rojas in 2000, she worked in commercial and residential design, being a registered architect. She is an active member of GEMERA, as well as a director for local subsidiaries of Canadian and Australian mining companies.
Javier Rojas, Research & Development Manager
Mr. Rojas has experience in Design and Technology, applied to improving the delivery of professional services. He graduated in Graphic Design at Champagnat University, Mendoza, Argentina, and holds postgraduate degrees in Multimedia and Corporate Image, and a MSC in Project Management from the Swiss Business School. He is General Coordinator of Argentina Mining, part of the Rojas Group. Prior to joining Rojas in 2000, he worked in several web design companies.
Nelson Rojas, Operations Manager
Mr. Rojas has experience in logistics coordination and environmental studies for exploration and prospecting. He was part of the founding group of Rojas, in 1998. He holds a degree in Business Management from ADEN, Mendoza, and also has studies in Geology at the National University of Salta, Argentina. Previously, he worked for BHP Minerals at tenement management, GIS and safety.
Raúl Velázquez, Administrator
Mr. Velázquez has been Administrator of Rojas since its foundation in 1998. Previously he filled similar positions in BHP Minerals and Nipponday in Mendoza. He has studies in Engineering from National University of Cuyo and Administration, from Blas Pascal University, as well as courses in finance and foreign trade.

Flavio Eduardo Olivares Ferrada, Geologist
Universidad Católica del Norte, Chile. Flavio Ferrada has experience in the description of geological and geotechnical diamond drilling, description of cuttings, inner mine mapping, interpretation of sections and drawing up of local and district geological maps on land surveying and photographic bases. He previously worked for Minera Escondida, Codelco and in independent consultancy, among others.
Laura Elena Rojas Araya, Geologist
Universidad Católica del Norte, Chile. Laura Araya has experience in economic geology, geological and geotechnical logging of diamond and reverse circulation drilling, sampling, surface detailed-scale mapping, interpretation and modeling of ore bodies and reserve estimation, geotechnical characterization. She has experience in IOCG deposits, Cu-Au-Mo Porphyries and High-Sulphidation Epithermal Deposits. She previously worked for Aur Resources, Rio Tinto, Phelps Dodge, among others.
Elisa Rojas, Legal Representative in Chile
Elisa is a Social Worker and has a long experience practicing her profession in private and public companies of Chile. At present, she is Coordinator of a Grant Program “President of the Republic”, in the Metropolitan Intendance of Santiago, Chile.
Daniela Rossi, Business Development Coordinator
Bachelor degree in Marketing. Univ. of Aconcagua, Mendoza, Argentina. Experience in commercialization of services, organization of events, identity, image, communications and media relations. In charge of Sales and Business Development for Argentina Mining since 2007.
