Rojas & Asociados included in PDAC List of Student Friendly Companies

MENDOZA, ARGENTINA, April 6th, 2011. Rojas & Asociados is pleased to announce that it has been included in the list of student friendly companies of the main Canadian mining organization. PDAC -Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada- keeps a directory of companies which routinely recruit students to join their staff. At present, 59 registered firms are included, mainly Canadian, including mining companies along with service and technology suppliers.

“We are pleasantly surprised by this acknowledgment. Over our close to 13 years of life, we recruited interns of various disciplines to our staff from geology to communication and environment. Likewise, with an affiliated firm of ours, Argentina Mining, we have developed programs for students in each event, ranging from free registrations to activities specially tailored for them,” said Paola Rojas, Business Development Manager of the firm.

In view of the present lack of professionals in the mining sector, internship has enabled the firm to fulfill its personnel needs at all times. Many of the students who participated in the internship program or who joined as interns while they were concluding their studies have remained in the firm or have returned after obtaining their degrees to become part of the permanent staff.

Rojas & Asociados is the only Argentine firm appearing in the list. The full list is available at PDAC website: http://www.pdac.ca/students/directory/student-friendly.aspx
